Racing History

Bryan has been racing since he was old enough to spend evenings in the garage with his dad, Tink. This continued for many years learning what it took to keep up and maintain a racecar. In 2007 Bryan upgraded his status with Reedy Racing and became the newest driver to the team. Competing in the Mod4 division, Bryan made his debut running in a limited number of races on a limited budget. Bryan is the son of Tink and grandson of Orvil.

2008 brought more change. Tink decided to retire after 25 years and turned his attention to his son’s career. This decision made an immediate impact on Bryan’s performance. Bryan went on to win Rookie of the Year honors and finished 3rd in the Motor Mile Speedway track points in Mod4.

2009 through 2011 saw Bryan win 10 out of 33 starts in the Mod4 division while competing at Motor Mile Speedway, Franklin County Speedway and Myrtle Beach Speedway.

2012 saw Bryan and the team move up to the very competitive Limited Sportsman division at Motor Mile Speedway. The team scored one win in its rookie season in the division. A 7th place finish in points was a great feat considering Bryan missed the last two races in anticipation of the birth of his second child to wife Susanna. Bryan and the team also made the field at the prestigious Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 at Martinsville Speedway on October 21st. This was Bryan’s first ever race in a NASCAR Late Model Stock Car. Making the field for this race is an accomplishment in itself, but doing it as a rookie was very impressive.

The 2013 season saw Bryan and the team compete in their second season of Limited Sportsman division racing at Motor Mile Speedway. The team had another good season, finishing tied for second in the point standings but ending up third due to the tie breaker going to the driver with the most wins. The team also traveled to Martinsville Speedway again for the Virginia if for Racing Lovers 300 and once again, in only his second race in the ultra-competitive Late Model Stock Car division, he made the 42 car field out of 89 competitors.

2014 was a very successful season. Coming into the season things were looking better than ever. The car was in tip top shape and ready to race. All the hard work showed on the track as well. 6 races were run at Motor Mile Speedway and all 6 races saw Reedy Racing starting on the front row. We finished the season with 1 win and 4 top three finishes.

2015 marked the start of Bryan's career racing in the Late Model Stock Car division. Bryan won Rookie of the Year honors at Motor Mile Speedway.
